KKL Luzern
From the viewing terrace near the KKL (Culture and Congress Centre Lucerne), enjoy stunning views of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding Alps. There I will share a short introduction to Lucerne’s history and highlight the modern architecture of the KKL as a symbol of the city’s cultural life today.

Spreuer Bridge
Visit Lucerne’s second covered wooden bridge, often overlooked but full of character. As you walk across the Spreuer Bridge, you’ll notice a series of vivid 17th-century paintings overhead. I will introduce you to the unique artwork and the unexpected theme behind these dramatic scenes.

Weinmarkt
Step into one of Lucerne’s most charming Old Town squares, surrounded by beautifully frescoed buildings and centuries of tradition. Once a bustling market and gathering place for local guilds, Weinmarkt offers a glimpse into Lucerne’s civic and commercial life in the Middle Ages. I will point out architectural details and share how the space has evolved through the centuries.

Lion Monument
Pause at the Lion Monument, a striking rock carving often described as one of the most moving sculptures in Europe. It honors the Swiss Guards who died during the French Revolution, and I will share the story behind this national symbol of bravery, loyalty, and sacrifice.
