Cruise on Lake Lucerne
Enjoy a 1-hour scenic cruise across Lake Lucerne, taking in panoramic mountain views on your way to Mount Pilatus. A restaurant is available on board, and lunch or drinks can be ordered à la carte and paid for separately.
Pilatus Railway
Pilatus Cogwheel Railway. Ride the world’s steepest cogwheel railway (up to 48% gradient) from Alpnachstad to Pilatus Kulm — a 30-minute ascent through alpine landscapes.

Pilatus Kulm Summit
Enjoy your time at the summit (6,981 feet or 2,132 m), where you can take photos, admire the views, or explore short trails and observation decks.
Dragon Ride
We begin our descent from Pilatus Kulm on the dramatic Dragon Ride cable car. Halfway down, we stop at a mid-mountain station surrounded by forest, where we spend 40–45 minutes exploring a hidden local viewpoint and hearing some of the mountain’s legendary dragon stories.

Panoramic Gondola
We continue our descent by panoramic gondola, gliding down the lower slopes of Mount Pilatus to the town of Kriens at the foot of the mountain. The tour ends here, and you can return to Lucerne by public bus in about 15 minutes.
